About

Wistaria Vintage was founded with the idea that high-quality, stylish and well-made vintage apparel and accessories should neither be hard to find nor outrageously expensive.

Our large selection of clothing and accessories is always changing as new discoveries are made. But you won't have to dig through thousands of mediocre pieces to find one that suits you: we've already hunted down the best items from all over the country so you don't have to.

Our pursuit of good clothes, mostly made in the U.S.A., makes the work a labor of love.

Going up the country

So, Wistaria Vintage is closed this week as I’ve gone up the country for some much needed R&R.  I love upstate NY and always find something new and amazing every time I come up here.  This trip I discovered the most amazing antique shop I’ve ever been to.  It was like a dream, so inspiring, thought I’d died and gone to heaven.   I saw the place from the road mostly due to the amazing gardens and sculptures outside, but then I went inside not really expecting much… but OMG……the furniture was amazing.  I especially liked all of the vintage mannequins…well pics speak for themselves…

Vacation

Wistaria Vintage will be closed for Vacation until August 26th        happy summer!

Jazz in the garden

Just a block and a half away from Wistaria Vintage  is the Johnson house;  ”Philadelphia’s only accessible and intact stop on the Underground Railroad.”  I attended the annual jazz in the garden event and it was great fun! This is a charity event for the Johnson House.  If you are in the neighborhood you should stop by this historic site, it is fascinating.  The house is also a great example of a pre-Revolutionary War Quaker home.  Jazz in the garden had great music and food.   Tours of the site were also available.  Here are some pics.

Wyck food festival

On June 24th there was a wonderful food festival at the Wyck house on germantown avenue,  not far from Wistaria Vintage.  Great food and music!   Here are some pics
